Post-Trash's Staff Picks: The Best of 2022
We're happy to present "Post-Trash's Staff Picks: The Best of 2022" as voted by the site’s wonderful contributors (including their individual lists). Further Listening: A Compendium | Year-End 2022 Feature
As anyone who reads our “Fuzzy Meadows” column already knows, the “list” is just the beginning, and we’re always eager to add some “Further Listening” for consideration. Despite what some would have you believe, music is not a contest. We profiled many records in our “Year In Review” feature, but the fun doesn’t stop there.
Post-Trash's Mid-Year Report: Our Favorites Releases of 2022 (January thru June)
We present our “Mid-Year Report," a comprehensive guide to our favorite releases of the first half of this year, without any pre-determined length or insignificant rankings. If we’re into it, we're including it (unless we plumb forgot it or just haven’t spent enough time with it… which happens, in which case our sincerest of apologies).
Jeanines - "Don't Wait For A Sign" | Album Review
While the sound of Jeanines - the duo of Alicia Jeanine and Jed Smith - goes deeper than just an emulation of the Sarah Records sound, with Don't Wait For A Sign, the pair latches on to that deep running vein of wistful, melodic pop. It’s the type of music where you have to say what you have to say in two minutes or less.

Jeanines - "Don't Wait For A Sign" | Post-Trash Premiere
The band are set to release their sophomore album, Don’t Wait For A Sign, on April 22nd via Slumberland Records, a record that takes the formula of their already great debut and improves it in every way. The production is more radiant, the arrangements are top-notch, and the vocals are full of warmth.

Jeanines - "Jeanines" | Album Review
New York City-based Jeanines are a duo comprised of Alicia Jeanine and Jed Smith who, together, make music that is equal parts wistfully nostalgic and strikingly present. Their self-titled, debut album for Slumberland - which follows the release of a few demo tracks, a standalone single and two covers - is a collection of razor sharp, 60s influenced indie pop.
