On Behold, Melbourne’s Parsnip fits this bill quite satisfyingly, never relying on the gritty texture of lo-fi production or the posturing of a scuzzy garage revival band.

They set the bar high with their 2021 self-titled debut and, to nobody’s surprise, they’ve cleared that bar. The new record sounds like a more organic whole from a band who has grown together, feeding each other’s strengths and challenging themselves to be more.

Holiday Music - "Drinking Smoking Eating Red Meat" Video | Post-Trash Premiere

The 333 opener is sparse but twisted, a song slowed as though it was recorded on warped tape. While it would seam the least likely track on Holiday Music's EP to get a video, sure enough, it now has an incredible new animated video courtesy of the one and only James Roo (Neckbolt).
