There is a constant symphony of anthropogenic sounds surrounding us, swaying to the wind’s rhythm. Chicago cellist and composer Lia Kohl is fascinated with these ephemeral clouds of noise, embracing and investigating them in her solo work, especially on her new record Normal Sounds.
