Just in time for Bandcamp Friday aka September 3rd, the experimental chamber-pop band are back with a new 2-song single, Ice Cream in Hell b/w Heat Turns The Screw. There’s always a serene escapism to Tadzio’s music, even as they explore heavier themes and the darker sides of emotional depth.

Lead single “Pure And Radiant Joy” is one of the biggest songs you’re going to hear, with an exuberance that explodes in every tonality explored. Opening with a haunting harmonium refrain that could be the start to the next Halloween movie, the rhythm section quickly devours the proceedings, pounding with enough tension to bend all your silverware.

The song is the first from the band’s upcoming album, The Sick Room, due out April 23rd via DC’s Blight Records (PREE, Nyxy Nyx, Luna Honey), an album that almost feels new-age on first impression but warps in orchestral chamber pop and avant-garde prog to keep things pleasantly askew.
