Sunforger - "Say Sorry" | Post-Trash Premiere

by Pat Pilch (@apg_gomets)

Sunforger are back. Today, the Montreal-based post-grunge outfit have announce their second full length, and we’re over the moon to be premiering the first single from Weight. Recorded with Scott “Monty” Munro of Preoccupations, “Say Sorry” is the first glimpse of Sunforger’s hi-fi-ish return.

Sunforger lead Spencer Curtis says “Say Sorry” is about “Worrying you’ve wronged someone with your words or actions but having a horrifically avoidant conflict resolution style. The feeling of drowning in your own intransigence.”

While there’s always been a notable despondency to Sunforger tunes, but the fact this music exists is a testimony to the music’s cathartic nature and the band’s resolution in the face of severe adversity.

The band are set to headline the POP Montréal showcase at SXSW on March 13.
