Snoozer - "Just Sayin'" | Post-Trash Premiere

by Pat Pilch (@apg_gomets)

Philadelphia’s Snoozer make classic indie rock: catchy, quick, and immediate. Brothers Tom and Mike Kelly have traded songwriting duties since forming the project in 2007, and have since utilized any and all tools found in their home studio while cutting their teeth at Philly house shows. Today, Post-Trash is thrilled to premiere “Just Sayin’,” the lead single from Snoozer’s Born Losers Records debut Little Giants.

Born from a warm-up riff, “Just Sayin’” finally came together following Snoozer’s summer 2024 tour. The idea plateaued before Kelly bounced the idea off a couple friends. The phrase “just sayin’” was offered, and the song was realized. It’s an easy-breezy number for fans of Alex G and that classic Philly alt-rock sound, which checks out considering Tom Kelly has been Giannascoli’s touring drummer for the better part of the last decade.

Snoozer have a couple hot dates on the horizon. In early December, they support They Are Gutting a Body of Water on four shows, then another four with Algernon Cadwallader.

Snoozer’s Little Giants EP is out via Born Losers Records on October 31. Listen to “Just Sayin’ below:
