She's Green - "Figurines" | Post-Trash Premiere

by Pat Pilch (@apg_gomets)

She’s Green set themselves apart in the current shoegaze wave. The Minneapolis project’s dynamic blend of the genre’s prettiest and heaviest elements is all-consuming and highly intentional. They pull off bold, anthemic dream pop without ever sounding the slightest bit corny.

The band has garnered significant attention through 2023’s Ophelian Wisteria EP and a handful of loosies. Today we’re premiering “Figurines,” another gorgeously melancholic one-off that takes its time to slow burn. The accompanying video is excellent in its visual parallels to the track’s enormous buildup. Here’s She’s Green on “Figurines:

“In the setting of someone finding themselves lost at a crossroads, ‘Figurines’ depicts the distressful feelings of adolescent self-discovery,” she’s green says. “The emblem of a figurine embodies eerily familiar images of adolescence, forgotten memories that resurface with newfound significance in adulthood.”

Nice. “Figurines” is officially out tomorrow, Earth Day. She’s Green hit the road with Softcult through June. Be sure to catch them on the road and to listen to “Figurines” below:
