Psych-jazz legend Shintaro Sakamoto announced his perfectly titled Yoo-hoo back in November, sharing “Dear Grandpa” and “Is There A Place For You There?” in its wake. This evening in America, and this morning in Japan, Post-Trash is thrilled to premiere a live studio performance of the latter track—a hyper-psychedelic version of what looks like Sakamoto’s very own red room.
Shintaro Sakamoto’s band recently cancelled a few December dates, but this session will surely tie listeners over until the next string of shows. Yoo-hoo arrives on January 23, 2026 via Sakamoto’s Zelone Records. In the meantime, enjoy an exclusive premiere of “Is There A Place For You There?
