As we all head into the weekend, we’re happy to share a few of our favorite new releases, out this week (in splendid alphabetical order). The write-ups are all kept brief and bite sized, snippets to catch your interest. There’s a lot of great music out every week and these are just some of the many we think you should check out.

London’s The Eurosuite (mems USA Nails, Nitkowski) release their latest album, Totally Fine, a primal noise rock record that feels warped and harrowing. While their second album, Sorry, was built around electronic clamor that felt alien more often than not, Totally Fine manipulates that computerized chaos into a futuristic screed of brute carnage. It's abrasive and claustrophobic yet consistently mesmerizing.
Rhymesayers / Metalface Records

There's always been a kinetic chemistry inherent in Kurious and MF DOOM's collaborations, and it's easy to see how they gravitated toward each other. Majician, executive produced by DOOM prior to his passing, is a modern gem of underground hip-hop and a defining statement from Kurious. The raw and off-kilter rap album is chopped with mystical soul samples and lyrical complexity that keeps the super villain's legacy close to heart.
Feel It Records
Bandcamp | Spotify | Apple
Equal parts reckless grit and sleazy garage punk charm, Chicago’s Man-Eaters pair boogie and decimation, their rock ‘n’ roll a caustic good time. With Quatro Muchachos, they’ve come to shred and there’s little that can stop them. This is primal, sweaty, liquor soaked punk rock as though it had been laid to waste by the rawest of 70’s stoned fuzz miscreants.
Secretly Canadian

London’s Porridge Radio having been buzzing with acclaim for many years at this point and yet their new album feels special, a band at the height of their emotionally intense powers, everything perfectly in place. Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me takes careful consideration in its construction, recorded live to capture the raw immediacy inherent in Dana Margolin’s poetic yet expressive songwriting.
Goner Records

PYPY (mems Duchess Says, Red Mass) are here to get freaky, letting their tight grooves wrap and coil in loops, jittering between tangled motorik pulses and explosive garage punk exuberance. It’s “get down” music in the best of ways. A decade removed from their debut, Sacred Times is entrenched in mesmerizing rhythms and careening psych noise.
Iron Lung Records / La Vida Es Un Mus Discos
Bandcamp | Spotify | Apple
Toronto hardcore luminaries S.H.I.T. return with For A Better World, a stampeding record built on corrosive riffs and haymaker pummeling. Despite the title, the band's violent tempos and lyrics dealing with disembowelment don't exactly suggest human tranquility, but sometimes things have to get worse before they can get better. This one is a ripper from start to finish.
Toxic State Records
Bandcamp
Suffocating Madness (mems Anti-Machine, Nurse, Savage Pleasure) release their full length debut, Unrelenting Forced Psychosis, a grizzly hardcore album with the manic intensity and brutality of classic Scandinavian HC (think Disfear meets Anti Cimex). Depraved, relentless, and blistering into the red, their onslaught hits like a bulldozer to your skull.
