Post-Trash is very pleased to present a treat from Winded in the form of a music video for "Heaven is Leaking" from last year's breathtaking EP, Schwartz Provides. Every new listen to the record opens up new musical secrets you may have missed since the last time. Winded's track record of mixing a bit of jangly and earnest sentiment with a crushing sense of despair and intense self-reflection always provides quite a wild ride through a gamut of feelings and states of mind.
"Heaven is Leaking" is one of the highlights of the EP, with drums and guitars that gallop alongside each other as Thrin Vianale's chanted vocals bounce back and forth playfully against themselves. For the video, directed by Mitch Wells, we see Vianale wandering through various landscapes, including a junk yard and train crossing, before running into a singular lurking scooter driver with a visage of disgust. After our voyeur meets some misfortune, Vianale absconds on a joyride with his method of transport before an ominous encounter fades into nothingness on this jaunty and playful short.
Winded’s Schwartz Provides is out now via Community Records.
