Back in May, Connecticut's Landing released Bells In New Towns, a brand new record to celebrate the band's 20 years together. We said the album "once again finds the band working their unique blend of krautrock, shoegaze, and psych deep into other realms of existence. Expanding minds and disrupting any genre limits previously placed on the band, their heavy driving music is both propulsive and dreamy, often simultaneously" and four months later, we stand by that assessment. We had the pleasure of sharing the album's lead single, "Nod," a spaced-out blend of psych, prog, and motorik grooves. Today, the band announces their 20th Anniversary Tour, together with the premiere of a video for the dreamy shoegaze-tinged "Wait Or Hide".

The video, directed by the band's own Aaron Snow captures the band performing live in their practice space, with close-up footage and overlayed clips cutting between their performance and some trains. Shot in a stark black and white, the simplistic video works to accentuate the surging layers of psych fuzz and that permeating glow of gentle feedback that feels so at ease under the band's dim rumbling. It's all a bit haunting and ethereal, but there's a determined drive and transitory spirit that moves from one realm to the next.
