Rising from the ashes of Walter Mitty And His Makeshift Orchestra, this year Walter Etc. reintroduced itself to the world with Gloom Cruise, a record full of lighthearted pop sounds, but a darker lyrical focus undercutting it all. The video for “Lighthouse” strikes that balance well, as the band receives an ominous message and then must go out in search of this mythical cruise. It sees the band traversing through hills in search of the ocean, eventually finding a lighthouse that points them in the direction they need to go.
