It’s no surprise that Turning Yr Back on the Dolphin reveals a formidable songwriter in Erica Dunn. There’s not a bad song on this record, even the weakest track is quite solid. She has absorbed the lessons of Townes Van Zandt and Joni Mitchell and created a batch of impeccable songs.
