East London trio Shopping are a band that clearly love the post-punk of the late 70’s and early 80’s. However, rather than simply repackaging the past, their second album Why Choose makes the case that there is still plenty of fresh ideas left in that sound and that maybe it’s a genre just as relevant and needed today.

Lushes Share "Circus" Music Video
Over the summer, Brooklyn based duo Lushes collaborated with OMG Everywhere, a nonprofit that connects kids with working filmmakers in weeklong workshops around the world. The kids listened to the track and came up with the concept, directed, starred and shot the film along with band members James Ardery and Joel Myers in one day.
Helvetia Share "Crumbs Like Saucers"
Helvetia, the project of Built To Spill bassist Jason Albertini, will release a new LP, Dromomania, on October 2nd via Joyful Noise. The band previously shared lead single "A Dot Running for the Dust," and they recently unveiled a video for the track that showcases their not-so-serious side. They also released haunting album track "Crumbs Like Saucers" today.
