Kowloon Walled City will release their long-awaited new full-length this Autumn. Grievances, their third album and first for Neurot Recordings, finds the San Francisco band at its artistic peak, having moved even further away from its sludgy, post-hardcore origins and toward a more sparse, more melancholic detuned heaviness.
Over the summer, Brooklyn based duo Lushes collaborated with OMG Everywhere, a nonprofit that connects kids with working filmmakers in weeklong workshops around the world. The kids listened to the track and came up with the concept, directed, starred and shot the film along with band members James Ardery and Joel Myers in one day.
Helvetia, the project of Built To Spill bassist Jason Albertini, will release a new LP, Dromomania, on October 2nd via Joyful Noise. The band previously shared lead single "A Dot Running for the Dust," and they recently unveiled a video for the track that showcases their not-so-serious side. They also released haunting album track "Crumbs Like Saucers" today.
